These terms are governed by Scots law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

2. Our Service

MoveSorted provides an address change notification service. We contact organisations on your behalf to notify them of your change of address, using a signed Letter of Authority provided by you.

Our service includes:

• Collecting your old and new address details
• Obtaining your signed Letter of Authority
• Contacting your chosen organisations via their preferred channels — online forms, written letters or telephone
• Providing a dashboard to track the progress of each notification

3. What We Do Not Guarantee

While we make every effort to update your address with all chosen organisations, please note the following important limitations:

• We cannot guarantee the timescales within which individual organisations process address updates — this is outside our control
• Some organisations may require you to complete additional verification directly — we will notify you if this is the case
• We are not responsible for any consequences arising from delays caused by third party organisations
• Update timescales vary — most complete within 5 working days but some (such as NHS records) may take up to 2 weeks

4. Letter of Authority

By signing the Letter of Authority, you confirm that:

• You authorise MoveSorted Ltd to contact the specified organisations on your behalf
• All information you have provided is accurate and truthful
• You are the account holder or authorised representative for all accounts being updated
• You understand that providing false information may constitute fraud

You may withdraw your Letter of Authority at any time by contacting us at hello@movesorted.uk. Withdrawal will stop any pending notifications but cannot reverse completed ones.

5. Pricing & Payment

Our current pricing tiers are displayed on our website at movesorted.uk. All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes.

• Payment is taken at the time of purchase via Stripe
• Your service begins once payment is confirmed and your Letter of Authority is signed
• We reserve the right to change our prices — existing customers will not be affected mid-service

6. Refund Policy

We offer the following refund policy:

• Full refund — if you cancel before signing your Letter of Authority
• Partial refund — if work has begun, a refund will be issued minus a £5 administration fee for work already completed
• No refund — once all notifications have been sent to your chosen organisations

To request a refund, contact us at hello@movesorted.uk within 14 days of purchase.

7. Your Responsibilities

By using MoveSorted you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about yourself and your address change
• Only authorise updates for accounts you own or are legally authorised to manage
• Not use the service for any fraudulent, illegal or harmful purpose
• Notify us promptly if any information you have provided changes

8. Our Liability

MoveSorted's liability to you is limited as follows:

• We are not liable for delays or failures caused by third party organisations
• We are not liable for any indirect, consequential or financial losses arising from delays in address updates
• Our total liability to you in any circumstances shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service
• Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud

9. Data Protection

10. Intellectual Property

All content on movesorted.uk including text, logos, graphics and software is owned by MoveSorted Ltd and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute or use any content without our written permission.

11. Changes To These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Scots law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of MoveSorted shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
