- Current (old) address
- New address
- Date of birth (where required by specific organisations)

- Phone number
- National Insurance number (where required for HMRC notifications)
- Driving licence number (where required for DVLA notifications)
- Payment information (processed securely via Stripe — we do not store card details)
- Details of which organisations you wish us to notify
3. Why We Collect Your Data (Legal Basis)
We collect and process your personal data on the following legal bases under UK GDPR:
- Contract performance — to provide the address change service you have purchased
- Explicit consent — via your signed Letter of Authority, authorising us to act on your behalf
- Legitimate interests — to improve our service and communicate service updates to you
- Legal obligation — where required by law to retain certain records
4. How We Use Your Data
Your personal data is used solely for the following purposes:
- Notifying your chosen organisations of your address change on your behalf
- Processing your payment
- Updating your dashboard with progress of each notification
- Communicating with you about your address change updates
- Complying with legal and regulatory requirements
We will never sell your personal data to third parties. We will never use your data for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
5. Who We Share Your Data With
We share your personal data only with the organisations you specifically authorise us to contact via your signed Letter of Authority. These may include:
- Government bodies — HMRC, DVLA, Electoral Roll, NHS, DWP, Council
- Financial institutions — your banks and insurance providers
- Utility companies — gas, electricity, water, broadband providers
- Subscription services — as selected by you
We also use the following trusted third-party service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Stripe — payment processing (PCI DSS compliant)
- IONOS — website hosting and data storage
All third-party providers are contractually required to protect your data and may only use it for the specific purpose we have instructed.
6. How Long We Keep Your Data
- Customer account data — retained for 2 years after your last use of the service
- Payment records — retained for 7 years as required by HMRC for accounting purposes
- Letter of Authority — retained for 2 years after the address change is complete
- Communication records — retained for 1 year
After these periods your data is securely deleted or anonymised.
